Board Notification:
Honorees and those who nominated them will be notified at least
two weeks in advance of the Fall Educators Conference. Award Presentation:
At the Fall Florida-Georgia District Educators Conference Selection Criteria:
Nomination:
Nominating
letter from a professional colleague (required)
Seconding letter from a
professional colleague (required).
Letter of support from the LCMS
pastor of the church where the nominee serves including
statements that describe the nominee’s commitment and
contribution to Lutheran education.(required).
Letter of support from the
non-LCMS pastor of the nominee’s home Church, if not a
member of an LCMS church. (required)
Letters of support from
colleagues, school board members, school administrators,
pastors and school parents. (two required.)
Nominee must be a
member of a Christian church recognized by the Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod.
Nominee must
exemplify a Christian educator in:
Service to
school
Service to
their home church
Service to the
Lutheran church where s/he serves
Service to the
church at large/community
Nominee must have a
minimum of ten years of service to the Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod.
Nominee must have a
minimum of five years of service in an LCMS school in
Florida or Georgia.
Nominee must be (or
have served as) an administrator, classroom teacher or other
instructional personnel.
